U18AA Blazers win Silver at North Halton Showcase
The U18AA Blazers played an incredible tournament losing in overtime to Ayr 4-3 in the championship game. Though we were battered, losing 3 players by the end of the tournament, we played for each other and came within inches of winning gold with only 12 players by the end of the game.
This was an incredible team effort with every single forward scoring at least one goal! Our defence kept opponents out of the game and the goalies posted a .930 save percentage. We bonded as a team while beating teams from Oshawa, Owen Sound and Connecticut.
What an unbelievable achievement for a gutsy team!
