    This long time blazer is small but mighty. Her dedication to our team and the relentless energy she brings on the ice helps her hunt down the puck in any situation. Big or small, winning or losing we know This player gives her 110% every time she steps on the ice. She is an excellent leader and wears that A proud. Her great attituded, love for the game and constant drive make her the perfect candidate for this award.

The award is presented to the MVP player that contributes the most to their teams success, She is has the best statistical performance, leadership impact on positive team dynamics and over influence on the out come of games and her team dynamic
  • Sophie Bubb-Clarke
    U15C
    Sophie is a force on our team. Her skating, great hands and hard shot make her a lethal player in the slot. It's not often that she gets the puck there and it doesn't go in the net. She easily led the team in scoring and did this in key situations. She had multiple 4+ goal games, one in which it solidified our spot in Provincials. They say you can't give good players a bad pass, this is true with Sophie, she has a wonderful ability to take a pass off the foot, shin, gut, shoulder, whatever.
Most Beneficial Player

This award is rewarded to the Most Beneficial player of the team. She is as a diverse player who is capable of multiple positions, She is a true utility player, valued for her versatility, reliability and the ability to fill in gaps of the team. She is quick to make decisions adapting to the changing circumstances during games.

Miss Congeniality

The award of Miss Congeniality is presented to a young lady who is the most approachable supportive and kind hearted girl on her team. She is the cheerleader to all the girls rallying the team together in the best and worst of times

    This Player is the life of the locker room. She is our team cheerleader and loves to make the girls all laugh in good times or bad. She is first player to send out compliments, lift the team and coaches up and her big heart can make anyone feel accepted and supported. She is always willing to take on any task the coaches or players gave her without skipping a beat.

Having heart means demonstrating a strong and unwavering commitment to ones beliefs, goals and values often in the face of adversity. The young lady deserving of the award encompasses qualities of courage, determination, resilience and passion both physically and emotionally. She upholds her values and purse her goals while demonstrating empathy and compassion with her team.

This award is presented to a U11 player who has demonstrated sportsmanlike play and has made significant improvement in her hockey skills over the course of the season. This player has been eager to learn and has set an example for his or her teammates by respecting the coaching staff, and team mates and doing her best at all times. This award is presented to the player that, like the person the award is named after, is committed to the spirit of hockey and fosters an inclusive environment.

    Amelia joined the Blazers this year, new to hockey but comfortable on the ice as a figure skater. She has demonstrated her willingness to learn the game and with dedication and hard work we have seen remarkable improvements. While developing her skills as a hockey player she continues to figure skate competitively. Amelia has been a pleasure to coach, she's eager to learn, has a positive attitude and a sense of humor that we have all enjoyed. She brings a light to the team with her personality.
Goaltender of the year

This award is presented to a goaltender who has had the season of all season. She not only has had an amazing season based off the season statistical data, number of shutouts, playoffs, tournament play. She also is out in her community volunteering and providing mentorship with in the association. Her hard work and dedication on and off the ice has been an assets to her team dynamic, she rallies the team with her optimistic "can do" attitude encouraging her team to be at their best.

    Maelle, whose extraordinary first season as a goalie has been nothing short of remarkable. With an impressive GAA of just over 1.00 and 11 shutouts, Maelle established herself as one of the standout U13C goalies in the league. What makes Maelle's achievements even more impressive is that she only transitioned to goaltending during the last off-season. Through dedicated practice and determination, she developed into a dependable presence that gave her teammates tremendous confidence.

This award is presented to a player who has demonstrated extraordinary team play and spirit, both in their approach to the game and their attitude towards their teammates. It is awarded to an individual who works hard, shows dedication to their team and their teammates in all circumstances, places the interests of their team and teammates ahead of themselves, who does not complain, perseveres and relies on sportsmanship, on and off the ice, to achieve their goals.

It is awarded to the player who the coaching staff believes has consistently demonstrated hard work, shows spirit, sportsmanship and tireless effort and dedication no matter if winning or losing. This player attends most practices and games and works hard the entire time on the ice.

This young lady demonstrates their commitment to being responsible respectable and contributing members of the community and to BADGHA. Her behavior and actions are for the betterment of all. She might not always be the stand out leader within her community but she encourages everyone to do their best and to be involved.

She is a player that excels at creating scoring opportunities for her team during on the ice through their vision of the game, passing ability and decision making skills.     Sawyer was new to the Blazers organization this year, moving over from minor hockey. She is a dedicated player that commits extra time to further develop her skills whenever she is given the opportunity. Although she is one of our smallest players, she leaves a lasting impression with her speed, determination and natural ability. She never gives up, setting her team mates up for success and looking for any opportunity to challenge her opponents.
