Novice B, Novice, 2013-2014 (Belmont, Aylmer, Dorchester Blazers)

WAY TO GO GIRLS...Great win at home tournament....Girls won gold at home tournament this weekend.  Had some great competition but went 5 games undefeated...with wins against St Thomas (5-1) Woolwich (4-0) Windsor (5-1) Grand River (2-0) and Woolwich for Gold (1-0).   Great weekend girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Girls on your win this weekend in Guelph.  Finishing 1 amongst some of the other top teams in the Region...Hard work by all to win 1-0 over the undefeated North Simcoe Capitals in the semi finals showed determination in your quest for gold.  A hard battle to win Gold in the finals in a rematch with the North Halton Twister who the girls would not get defeated by again as they had in round robin.  1-1 tie after regulation led to a scoreless 4 on 4 overtime which threw them into double overtime 3 on 3 during which Shelby sunk a nice one to clench the gold.  Way to Go Girls.  You are an ...
